  • Entered to art department of The Nihon
    University in 1945. Quitted the above
    mentioned department.




  • Learned from his father Kichizoh Wakayagi, the second head of the school, studied dance and succeeded the Kichishyouzou in 16 years old
  • Succeeded the name of Kichizoh Wakayagi, the third head of the school in 1944 after the death of his father.Revised name to Juhou Wakayagi in 1970.Held performance given in commemoration of succession splendidly all over the country in prosperity of the school, at the Osaka Shin Kabukiza, Tokyo National Main Theater, and Tokyo Kabukiza etc..Accepted the position of dance adviser of the Miyagawa cho kabu kai society, invited by the society.Assumed supervision, arrangement and production since the 37 th “Kyoh odori” in April 1986.

  • [ Purpose of charity public performance ]
    Charity public performance is held in all Japanese metropolis and districts in order to promote and develop Japanese traditional dance, and the head of the school contributes private funds for cultural revival and social welfare of sites.While, in outside of Japan , the head of the school contributes private funds and hold public performance, so that foreigners deepen their understanding of Japan through Japanese traditional dance, to extend friendly relation and effect cultural revival and social welfare of main cities.

  • Exhibit a charity Japanese classic kabuki dance in national important cultural asset, “Konpira Dai Shibai” (Kanamaru za) in Kotohira, Kagawa prefecture in May 1982.Donated a charity fund to the Kotohira board of education.Received a Dark-blue Ribbon Medal on October 30, 1982 .Received a letter of thanks from the town headman of Kotohira
  • Held a charity Japanese classic kabuki dance at Aomori City Cultural Hall in December 1983.Contributed a charity fund to Aomori City .Received a letter of thanks from the Mayor of Aomori.
  • Exhibited a charity Japanese classic kabuki dance at the Miyazaki Citizens' Hall in December 1983.Donated a charity funds to the Miya-nichi mother and child welfare association, through the Miya-nichi publishing company, and received a letter of thanks from the association.
  • Played a charity Japanese classic kabuki dance at the Osaka Mainichi Hall in October 1984.Contributed a charity fund to the Mainichi Press Osaka social work organization, through the Osaka Mainichi Press publishing company, and received a letter of thanks from the company and organization.
  • Appeared on the stage of a charity Japanese classic kabuki dance at the Iwate Citizen Hall on April 1985, and contributed a charity fund to the Iwate welfare foundation, and received a letter of thanks from the governor of Iwate prefecture.

  • Played a charity Japanese classic kabuki dance at the Hong Kong Elizabeth Stadium in December 1982.Contributed a charity fund to the Hong Kong government general through the Japanese consul at Hong Kong .
